Admissions Procedure

Welcome to Global Indian International School.

At GIIS, we are committed to nurturing a lifelong love of learning in our students through a balanced, holistic approach to education. We are proud to say that we’re realising our vision of becoming a global role model for teaching and learning, and are delighted that you are considering GIIS as a prospective school for your child.

We’re committed to making the Admissions process as simple and comprehensible as possible.

Because the academic year starts in April, this is typically our busiest period. As the Admissions Team begins reviewing applications for new admissions in January each year, we recommend that you plan and complete your admission materials before this time to avoid the rush.

The admissions procedure for ease of understanding is explained below in 3 simple steps.

  • Step 1 - Complete and submit the admissions form on the school website for your ward/s. Upon submitting the admissions form, you will receive a registration number.

  • Step 2 - The child is required to undertake an admissions aptitude test (personal interaction for Kindergarten students) at the school premises on a pre-allocated date. Please note that this is not a selection criteria but is conducted to evaluate applicants on a common ground.

  • Step 3 - The parent is required to pay the admission fee and tuition fee for the first quarter along with submitting the required documents.

In order to evaluate new applications on a common ground for students from different educational systems, an aptitude test is conducted as part of the admissions process. There may be variations in exact age requirements for admission to each class for students from other educational systems. Hence, the final decision on class allotment will depend upon a combination of Age Criteria, Aptitude Test results and previous school educational records.

All of life’s adventures begin with a single first step, and we encourage you to take yours by scheduling an appointment with one of our admissions counselors, during which you’ll tour the campus while learning more about our school, curricula and extracurricular activities.

We also routinely hold Open Houses during which prospective students and their families can interact with our faculty, students, course coordinators, and other university representatives to learn more about our comprehensive curricula.

We look forward to learning more about you, and to showing you in person how GIIS can make a real difference in your child’s life.
